    For 21 years I was the controller of an explosives company in Nashville, Tennessee, but I finally answered the call of God to help plant a church. That call became a reality several years ago with the start of NorthField Church. What I love most about my job is seeing God change lives through His power and the power of community. Loving God, loving people and making Jesus known is not only the vision of our church family but it has become a mantra I strive to live by. In my spare time you're likely to see me running on the side of the road, hiking up...or skiing down a mountain! God has blessed me with my beautiful wife Lynda, a daughter Alena, a son Aaron, his wife Kristin, and the light of our family, our grandson Eli! If you get a chance, stop by the gray building with the green stripe on any Sunday! I would love to meet you!

    I love being a part of the NorthField family and seeing people get passionate about Jesus! My desire is to see broken people find hope in Jesus because I was once broken and without hope. I get to have a front row seat to life-change because I am blessed to work with our Celebrate Recovery team. I love the heart of NorthField for the broken and hurting in our community. If you have a hurt, hang-up or habit, you'll be welcomed because there's no judgement here. You don't have to believe to belong! If I'm not at the church, I'm usually playing Fortnite with my kiddos, watching sports or playing music. I am blessed to have a beautiful wife Lindsay, and we have 4 awesome kids named Zoe, Madison, Max and Brennan! We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside you!

    Throughout the Bible, we see that God has created us to live in community. That’s why I love working with the LIFE Groups at NorthField because I enjoy helping people connect to one another and grow in their faith. Jesus called us to be disciples who make disciples, so I’d love to chat with you about how we can become better disciple-makers. If I’m not at church, I’m usually hanging out at Barnes and Noble with my wife Haylie and my daughters Lucy and Evie, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, or watching Star Wars. If you stop by the I’m In station on Sundays, I’d love to meet you!

    I LOVE MY CHURCH. Our mission of loving God, loving people and making Jesus known in our community inspires me on a weekly basis. I have the privilege of accomplishing our mission through our student ministry. I love watching students own their faith and become followers of Jesus. My ideal day would include, but not be limited to, the following, in no particular order: sleeping in, a big breakfast that MUST include biscuits and gravy, Netflix, hanging out with my wife Haley and my son Jack, watching all the sports(Predators, Vols, Titans) and tacos. The best days always include tacos.


  • It's a great privilege to work with kids and families here at NorthField and in our community! Seeing the light bulb moment for kids brings me great joy.  If I'm not running around the church building, it's likely you will see my family on Instagram trying something new, eating Mexican food, crafting or at home relaxing. Make sure if you see me on a Sunday to say ‘hi’. I would love to get the opportunity to meet you!

    There is nothing I would rather do than work with one of the best church production teams in the world and that’s exactly what I get to do. I love creating moments on Sundays and special events that allow people to engage in worship from the heart and encounter Jesus. If I am not at NorthField, you can find me in the recording studio engineering/producing/writing music, sound designing and producing shows, or hanging out at the pool with family and friends.

    I am blessed to work behind the scenes during the week with some of the best people around! My daily goal is to ensure that the church business operations are functioning as efficiently as possible so that our mission to Love God, Love People and Make Jesus Known can make the greatest impact in this community. On Sundays, you will find me serving on the NF Host Team welcoming our guests. I also love cheering on my kids in their activities and relaxing at the beach with a good book whenever I get a chance.

    My goal is to create a comfortable environment that enables each and every person to make the most of their worship experience. I enjoy taking an idea or drawing and bringing materials together so that our ministries can utilize their spaces to show the love of God to others. My other interests include boating, riding my motorcycle and guiltlessly spoiling my grandchildren with candy and ice cream!

    Entering the workplace after ten years as a stay-at-home mom, I could not have dreamed of a better place for the Lord to place me than NorthField. Serving alongside our teams and watching NorthField embody the mission of Loving God, Loving People, and Making Jesus known is one of my greatest blessings! When not serving or worshipping with our NorthField family, my husband, Seth, and I can usually be found supporting our children, Taylor, Gage, Sutton, and Eden in their childhood endeavors!

    I am super excited to be able to work with both NorthField and The Sumner Center to create a space for people needing support and growth. My goal is to have a space where anyone would feel welcome and accepted. When I’m not at work I am with my family or out hiking in East Tennessee. The views are beautiful! I can’t wait to see what God has planned for The Sumner Center and all the lives it will touch. I would love to talk with you about getting involved!

    Music is my passion! I love using music and video, and any other art form, to create worship for the source of all life – our creative King. My favorite scripture is Psalm 37:4 “delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” In my life this has been so true. When I am delighted in God, and what His plans are for my life, all of my “dreams” have come true. I have been serving in the role of worship minister at NorthField since 2011. I can’t think of a better church to serve at. It is truly my family. I also own Durant Studios where I create commercials, independent films, TV shows and music videos.

    It’s an absolute honor to work alongside this amazing production team and the NorthField family. Whether I’m serving in our Student Ministry on Wednesdays or helping out with our production team on Sundays, I love being able to provide a great experience for our church family. Outside of NorthField, I love hanging out with my friends and family, watching sports and just relaxing while listening to music. I am so grateful to call NorthField church my home.
