NorthField Church has partered with CCPC for most of our nine years as a church family. We realized early on that we have more in common with the agency than just physical proximity in Gallatin, TN. Our mission of making Jesus known to our community dovetails perfectly with theirs of providing resources for women, men and families facing the challenges of unplanned pregnancy. The people served by CCPC are largely at risk for falling through the 'cracks' in our culture at a most vulnerable time in their lives. The kind and compassionate services offered by CCPC have helped many clients find faith as well as support, encouragement, clothing, diapers & other essentials to raising a newborn. Some are even members of our congregation as a result. I have personally heard many people say that the CCPC have been the hands and feet of Jesus to them when they wondered what they were going to do next. The nature of our collaboration has taken several forms through the years. We have held numerous diaper and clothing drives to contribute needed supplies to the center. We also sponsor their Memorial Day 5k race, which has grown to be a well-attended community event with great participation, as well as their annual fund-raising dinner. Our church leadership continues to be impressed with the efficient, practical and humble way CCPC reaches out to our local community. Their efforts have truly made a difference in many lives. We are so blessed to be a part of this years Memorial Day Classic. Whether you are walking or running, participating in this race is just another way to support this community!
