The preschool years are special years where imaginations run wild and curiosity fuels everything. At NorthField, our goal is to help form a foundation in the lives of your preschoolers. We believe in the next generation, and we want to partner with families in leading their children to the next phase of life. Below you can see a list of the different environments that we have created with your preschooler in mind that meet during our 9:00 & 10:30am Worship Gathering.

Elementary school is a phase that is full of tiny personalities and memorable statements. At this stage of life we want to further engage your child in God's story by giving them their own unique worship time filled with song, prayer, and teaching. This is what we call our Elementary NF Kids, and it is designed for kids in K-4th Grade. Our Elementary Kids meets during our 9:00 & 10:30am Worship Gathering.

5th & 6th Grade

5th & 6th grade is an exciting time in life that is filled with lots of change. Our 5th & 6th grade environment is designed to give our pre-teens a place where can feel free to be themselves while getting a structured time of teaching and small groups with their leader each month. Our 5th & 6th graders meet every Sunday during our 9:00 & 10:30am worship gathering in their own room on Main Street. (that's the Elementary Wing!)

It is our goal to offer the quickest service so that both you and your family can get to service. Our goal is to inform you and your family about our NF Kids program. If it's your first time, please don't hesitate to ask for a tour! We know it's not always easy walking into a new place!

As you & your child arrive at our Kids Check-In, you will be greeted by a member of our NorthField Kids team. At the Check-In, you will be asked to fill out a family registration card, you will receive a name tag for your child & a corresponding security tag for yourself.

**Please alert Check-In volunteers personnel of any information that will help in caring for your child, such as allergies or special needs.

Your child’s age-appropriate classroom name can be found on their name tag. As you escort your child to their classroom, a NorthField Kids volunteer will meet you at the door to welcome your child, receive your child’s diaper bag & any other necessary items you may have. Please inform volunteers of any specific instructions you may have for your child.

We ask that you bring as few items as necessary to service. One diaper is plenty, along with a bottle if feeding will be needed during service. Please label all personal items with your child’s first & last name before arriving.

After you have completed the Check-In process & taken your child to his or her room, wave a quick good-bye & head into the adult worship service. As you know, it is common for little ones to cry when a parent leaves. This, typically, does not last long. Separation will become easier over time. Our leaders will immediately engage your child in a toy or activity & ensure your child that you will return soon. If your child cries for an extended period of time, we will page you via text to the number you provided.

When the time comes to pick up your child, please return to the appropriate room & present your security tag to the NorthField Kids volunteer at the door. The tag will be matched to your child’s name tag before he/she will be released into your care.

We have joined forces with NorthField's ministry partner Hope Springs International to adopt our friends Radje (girl) and Nadje (boy) from Africa. Together, we want to make sure your children know that their GENEROSITY makes a difference in this world! Encourage your child to give a small bill or coin at the #Kids4Kids giving box in the Children’s Check-in area each week. PRAY daily with your children for Radje, Nadje, & friends. Keep your kids posted on how God is working BIG with their gifts! Click here to join our NF Kids Facebook page for the latest updates.

We know that parenting isn't easy, especially when it comes to your preschool and elementary kids. We've compiled a list of parenting resources because we are for you and for your family. These resources won't fix every problem, but we hope these will prepare you to have better conversations and better connections with your kids!
